The tower "Laufer Schlagturm" at the end of the street was part of the smallish inner first city wall that soon didn`t suffice no longer.

This alley is the "pub or inn mile" of Nuremberg. Many timber frames of the former tanners fortunately survived the bombing in World War II.

"The Beautiful Well" is a popular touristy attraction pole. It was created between 1385 and 1396 by Heinrich Beheim.

In the pre-Christmas period on the central market you can visit the famous "Christkindlesmarkt". Otherwise the daily farmer`s market and various events are taking place.

"The Women Church" at the central market, today a Catholic parish church, was constructed between 1352 and 1362.

At noon you can regard this world-famous attraction underneath the church-clock. It was attached by Adam Kraft in 1509 and shows the Emperor Karl IV and the seven electors.

This former hospital for invalids, old and sick persons was constructed between 1332 and 1339. Today the spital is exclusively a residential home for the elderly.

In the part of the building that sits above the river Pegnitz, you can find a restaurant.

Within the city wall at "Hallertor" there is a romantic little footpath for pedestrians.

This westward city gate has its name from the old family "Haller von Hallerstein".
